Valais Blacknose Sheep for Sale in Oregon

Lambs and breeding stock from one of the West Coast's most intentional Valais Blacknose programs — placed by reservation, raised to the Swiss standard.

Bred Here, Not Brokered

Sheep From a Program, Not a Marketplace

Every lamb we sell was born in our pasture, handled from its first day, and bred from stock we selected against the Swiss standard — correct markings, sound conformation, and the gentle temperament this breed is famous for. When you buy from Cloud Cap Valais, you know exactly where your sheep came from and who stands behind them.

We place animals throughout Oregon, Washington, and the wider Pacific Northwest, and we work with serious buyers farther afield when transport and state import requirements allow.

How Buying Works

A Simple, Personal Process

1. Tell Us What You're Looking For

Pet-quality wethers, foundation ewes, or breeding stock — we start with a conversation about your land, your setup, and your goals.

2. Reserve Your Lambs

Once we confirm fit and availability, a deposit holds your animals. Most lambs are spoken for before or shortly after lambing season.

3. Bring Them Home

We coordinate pickup at the farm in the Hood River Valley or help arrange transport with veterinary health certificates for out-of-state buyers.
